i have two ferrets that need a loving and experienced home, the hob milo is tame just needs more time to handle. the jill tilly is a bit of a nipper she never drew blood but she just grabs, i think she will be better if she was handled more i have just got new job and dont have the time they need, so i think the best thing to do is re-home so if anyone can give them a good home please email me must go together as they have been together since birth 3 years ago they are spayed and nutered.

I take my ferrets to Castle Veterinary Clinic, 3 Poundbury Business Centre, Poundbury, Dorchester, Dorset. Tel: 01305 267083. They see Gill and she is brilliant with ferrets. She has a real love of ferrets, as she used to keep them herself, and she also has an interest in the biology/physiology and diseases of ferrets. My ferrets love her, which also helps!!

Hope its ok to add these, delete if not, these are the 2 readily available in our area, vitalin is pot luck in small bags in this area, theres Chudleys and TPP as well but again unless you mail order you can`t get it, its a postcode lottery what you can get your hands on, hopefully one day it will be like cat and dog food where you can get all the brands and have a choice

I have a poorly fuzzie and need to get him to a vet that knows about them.I have taken him to my local vet, and as good as he is doesn`t know too much about Ferrets. I live in Burnley Lancashire Can anyone recommend a localish fuzzie friendly vet.Kind regards

I write in my capacity as District Secretary for Barnet District Scouts.

I had an opportunity several months ago to attend a Ferret Race Night somewhere in Hertfordshire/Bucks and it was a splendid affair. The Chap who ran the ferret racing was a former scout and also very informative about the whole ferret race and care etc. It was a marvelous event and raised quite a substantial amount for the local Community Church (if I recall rightly).
