ill jill

Post  hawker 1 on Tue Mar 31, 2009 7:42 am

one of my jills (two yrs old ) has gone off her back legs she has a swollen abdomen and slight swelling to her nether regions im assuming this is because she has come into season and not been covered (last year they helped my mother jill raise the kitts and this seemed to suffice for them and bring them out of season )
problem is ,am i right in my assessment and if she is off her back legs (she drags them about ) can i put her in with a hob or will she be too disadvantaged? and finally will this pass and her recover or is it too late for her?

any ideas?

Are you serious? If your back legs were wobbley, your stomach is swollen and your b//////s are "slightly swollen" what would you do for yourself??
Or in your case it`s only a ferret so suffering doesn`t matter? Unbelievable. Get her to a vet ASAP.

Somehow i don`t think we`ll be hearing from Hawker1 anymore.
Makes me wonder if we should allow guests to just visit in and out without some sort of control.
What say you lot??

Hi I think guests should be able to read posts and not be able to say anything unless they register. Thats how other Forums that im on work. Pam.

Ill Jill (Hawker)

Post  Crusher on Wed Apr 08, 2009 10:41 pm

Only just read the comments and question from the ignorant Hawker, I fully support the view of all, this fool should not be in a position to guest on the forum. The attitude he shows in the welfare of ferrets is amazingly stupid and hopefully the vet he hopefully takes the ill ferret to will correct his thinking and rehome the ferret.
